About the seriesTraversées explores the invisible inheritance we receive from previous generations: beliefs, fears, loyalties and traumas. Through this series, Fanny Malicet looks at what this inheritance carries, but also at the strength it can give us to move through it. Classical sculpture, scarred surfaces, desert landscapes, rising suns and religious references recur throughout the paintings, creating a visual language around memory, transmission, transformation and renewal.
